The Solebury Township Historical Society was incorporated in 1981 as a non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation and interpretation of Solebury Township's historical heritage.
The Society is headquartered in the historic one-room schoolhouse located at the corner of Sugan and Upper York roads in historic Solebury Village, Bucks County, Pennsylvania. It contains an extensive research library, files on the history of most of the homes built before 1900 in Solebury, grades and attendance records of students who attended the schoolhouse from 1921 to 1964, a large historic map of the township, and more.
The schoolhouse is open for research on Wednesdays from 3 to 5 p.m. or by appointment. |
